The
elementary school division of the Monroe City Public
Schools opened Sept. 13 with an enrollment of 183.
The high school opened the previous week with 105
students on its rolls.
Ed
L. Bush and Miss Anna Robinson were married Sept.
12.
Ray
Jett enrolled in William Jewell College, Liberty.
Frank
Grimm accepted a position as clerk in the W.H. Moss
Drug Store.
A
daughter was born Sept. 14 to Mr. and Mrs. Samuel
Sandifer, north of town.
There
were four cases of typhoid in the family of Mr. and
Mrs. W. A. Preston.
J.
M. Pike
and son of Boulder, Colo., were visiting relatives
in the Monroe City and Indian Creek
communities.
Miss
Ethie Lewis enrolled in William
