INSPECTED BIG PRODUCE PLANT L.C. Henderson, C. L. Fitzgerald and W. L. Bond of this city, and A. H. Johnston, of Laclede, were in Topeka, Kansas, Wednesday where they inspected the Seymour poultry and egg packing plant. This plant is considered the best equipped of its kind in the country, and the trip was made for the purpose of inspection with a view to gaining ideas for the enlargements to be made to the Henderson Produce Co. at Laclede where an expenditure of $25,000 or more is to be made. It is expected to adapt some of the plans in use in the Kansas plant in the Laclede program. Monroe City News Submitted by Mary Beth Kirtlink Taken from the Perry Enterprise April 27, 1927
