Miss
Minnie Waller has been employed to teach the
fall school at Greenwood.
The
directors of Tulip School have employed Miss
Lonella Fowler to teach the fall term of
school, she having given good satisfaction
during this spring term.
Byars
& Creekmur, of Maud, last week sold their
general merchandise store to Mr. Will Stalcup
of that vicinity. Invoicing is now in
progress and as soon as it is complete, Mr.
Stalcup will take possession.
John
D. Power of near Santa Fe was called to the
bedside of his sister, who lives in Illinois,
last week.
Miss
Bertie Boatman has been elected by the Board
to teach room No. 4 of the Centralia public
school for the ensuing term. She is a
sister of Miss Nina Boatman of Paris.
