This photo is of Ida Bell PUGH taken abt 1889, when she was approx 18 years old.  Born on July 30, 1872 in either Kentucky or Missouri, Ida was living with her Grandparents, John Monroe & Frances (CONNER) FURNISH at the time of the 1880 Clay Twp, Monroe County census. Her parents are unknown. Ida married Charles Henry WALES at Holliday, Monroe County on March 10, 1891.  They moved to Charles’ hometown of Mexico in Audrain County and resided there until his death. In 1923, Ida traveled to California with her daughter, Maybell, and in-laws.
