Harmony Baptist Church
On Saturday the 24th of
March 1894, a call was made for the organization of a
Baptist church to be located at Casey College school house
in Monroe County on the old Florida road between Goss and
Florida.
Rev. W. R. Painter pastor of the Paris
Baptist church was chosen moderator, Rev. E. D.
Richardson, missionary of Bethel Association was also in
attendance.
Visiting brethren were invited to sit
in council. Letters were called for and the following
members from the Stoutsville Baptist church presented
themselves with letters and were accepted as charter
members of the Harmony Baptist Church.
