Two
Christmas Weddings
Mrs.
Thelma Brown and Cecil White were married at the home of and by
Rev. C. W. Cornn, pastor of the Central Christian Church of
Moberly, Saturday evening at 8 o’clock. Mrs. White is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brown and was a junior in Madison
High School. Mr. White is the son of Charley White and is
employed by the Green Produce Company here. They were attended
by Miss Irene Johnston and Nolts Harley. The young people
had their apartment furnished in the Mrs. Edwin Bassett home
where they returned after the wedding.
Miss
Irene Johnston and Nolte Harley were married at the home of and
by the Rev. C.W. Cornn, pastor of the Central Christian Church
of Moberly, Saturday evening at 8 o’clock. Mrs. Harley is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnston and is a graduate of
Madison High School and a graduate of the Kansas City Business
College and has been employed at Chownings. Mr. Harley is
the son of Mrs. And Mrs. Fred Harley, west of town and is
engaged in farming with this father. They were attended by
Mr. and Mrs. Cecil White. They will make their home on the
farm with Mr. Harley’s parents. Mrs. Harley will continue
her work at Chownings.
