Wish to contact anyone with knowledge of the Enochs family of Monroe Co.  Thomas Enochs and wife Nancy Bryan were married in Rowan county N.C. in 1786 and came to Jefferson Co. Ky about 1800.  Had a large family in what
is now Oldham County.  After Thomas Enochs died his widow Nancy Bryan remarrried and migrated with children and other family members to Monroe Co., Mo.  Where she died and is buried.  Wish to get in touch with family
members who would have information about this family.  Nancy Bryan Enochs was related to Rebecca Bryan, Daniel Boone's wife. Nancy Bryan Enochs was the daughter of Samuel Enochs and Margaret McMahan from Rown Co. N.C.  Samuel was the Tory Col. who was a brother to the founder of Bryans Station in Ky.  His brother Wm. was a presbyterian minister and these two men were the only ones who stayed loyal to the king during the
Revolution.  The other brothers came to Ky.  Nancy Bryan Enochs was my gr.gr.grndmother.  Her daughter Mary(Polly) who married Daniel Davidson came to Carlisle, Indiana and settled about 1817.  I am trying to find
where Mary Enochs and Daniel Davidson were married and who Daniel's parents were. The Enochs family is well documentated in N.C. in court records and land transfers in what is now Davies County. Thank you for
any help you can give me.  Will be happy to exchange information.

Looking for decendants of Francis M. BLACKABY, son of Chatherine SHRADER and Henry BLACKORBY, found on the 1860 and 1870 census of Monroe County,  Missouri.  The above name difference is not in error.  Henry could not
write his name; the marriage clerk spelled it BLACKOBY. Later Catherine and Henry got a divorce.  Henry remarried and his family went by BLACKORBY.   Francis M's  year of birth is about 1841 in Oldham County, KY.  I have not had access to the 1880 census to know if BLACKABY he is on it or not.    In the in Mt. Zion Cemetery, located 8 miles south of Paris, Missouri, there is a tombstone that has Francis M. BLACKABY b.1833, d. 1892.  With an 8 year variation in the ages, I believe this may be Francis M. BLACKERBY,  who was found on the 1850 census of Randolph County, Mo.  and born about 1843 in Lincoln County, Kentucky.  Would appreciate anyone's help on determining if it is BLACKERBY or BLACKABY buried at Mt. Zion.  Thanks.

This couple moved to Audrain County prior to 1858 - Thomas Jacob Rodhouse, born in Northamptonshire, England abt 1815, Mary Ann born in Branston, Northampton, England abt 1815.  They had the following children, all of whom lived in or near Mexico, Audrain County - Joseph (m Luvina Spoteswood in 1860), Elizabeth & Emma (both who married men named Foddy), Henry (m Alice Coalman), Thomas William (m Mary Elizabeth Ferguson) and Willie, who drown at abt age 12. Thomas Jacob Rodhouse was a "bud grafter" and worked planting some of the earliest orchards. Three of the Rodhouse sons, Joseph, Henry & Thomas William all served in the Civil War. Thomas William Rodhouse eventually moved to Louisiana, Pike Co., Mo and then to Pleasant Hill, Pike Co., Ill. Other Rodhouse descendants were involved with the University of Missouri. It is also possible that Thomas Jacob Rodhouse may have died in Paris, Monroe Co, Missouri -Mary Ann died in Mexico, MO. Any help appreciated.   Faye Cox, 6415 Orangewood Dr., Rancho Cucamonga, Ca.91701

Where could I obtain a list of the Missouri civil war prisoners who were housed at Jefferson Barricks? My great-grandfather was arrested by North for spying and put in prison. His name was James B. Simpson and he lived in Paris.

I am seeking information about Anderson MARDERS and his wife Emerine BURTON. They were married (we believe) May 12, 1842 in Monroe County, MO. Also information about (we believe) his sister Mabel Marders.  Anderson Marders was in Missouri about 1850 but moved to California.  Any information will be greatly appreciated.
