Near
the North fork of Salt river, in Jefferson Twp, Monroe
Co. It is a station on the M. K. & T. Railroad 10
miles south east of Paris and 34 south west of
Hannibal. Contains a Baptist church, a district
school, and a population of 100. Corn, oats, wheat,
hogs, cattle, and all kinds of produce are marketed.
Daily stage to Florida, 6 miles south east. Ex., Us.
