Isaac Moore of Macon County, Missouri Isaac Moore was born 17 July 1785 in Virginia. By 29 January 1810 he was located in Barren County, Kentucky, where he married Martha (Patsy) Barry, daughter of Joseph Stewart & Agnes (Wilson) Barry. Martha was born 9 February 1791 Virginia. Isaac and Martha migrated to Macon County, Missouri about 1848. Isaac and Martha both died in Macon County, Missouri; Isaac on 20 December 1851 and Martha (Patsy) on 19 July 1865. The location of their graves are not known. Isaac and Martha had the following children: 1. Nancy Ann Moore, born 10 February 1811 Barren County Kentucky; died 25 May 1867 Macon County, Missouri. She married Greenberry Milton Greer 26 July 1827 Barren County, Kentucky. Greenberry and Nancy are buried in Kellogg-Greer Cemetery, Eagle Twp., Macon County, Missouri. 2. Mary Jane Moore, born 7 October 1816 Barren County, Kentucky; died 29 March 1891 Macon County, Missouri. She married William Magee 4 December 1834 Barren County, Kentucky. William and Mary Jane are buried in the family cemetery, located on private property outside Macon, Missouri. 3. Martha W. Moore, born 15 May 1818 Barren County, Kentucky; died 14 February 1898 Macon County, Missouri. She married Daniel W. Matkin 21 August 1837 Barren County, Kentucky. Daniel and Martha are buried in Kellogg-Greer Cemetery, Eagle Twp., Macon County, Missouri. 4. Priscilla W. Moore, born 12 April 1820 Barren County, Kentucky; died 28 April 1883 Durkee, Baker County, Oregon. She married James T. Barry 31 March 1846 Edmonson County, Kentucky. James T. Barry died 12 September 1851 and Priscilla then married Joseph Magers 9 December 1852 Macon County, Missouri. Priscilla is buried in Durkee Cemetery, Baker County, Oregon. 5. Caroline M. Moore, born 1824 Barren County, Kentucky; died 30 April 1904 Macon County, Missouri. She married Henry Smith Hawkins 17 December 1847 Barren County, Kentucky. Henry is buried in Bunce Cemetery, Macon County, Missouri. Carolines burial location is uncertain at this time. 6. William Taylor Barry Moore, born 10 March 1823 Barren County, Kentucky; died 8 October 1884. Williams place of death is not known. He married Martha Elizabeth Miller 20 June 1848 Monroe County, Missouri. Elizabeth died 15 April 1873 and William then married Lissa Davis 19 October 1873 Macon County, Missouri. 7. Isaac Newton Moore, born 2 September 1828 Barren County, Kentucky; died 22 July 1890 Brownington, Henry County, Missouri. He married Annia Kingkade 27 March 1851 Macon County, Missouri. Annia died 29 August 1858 and Isaac then married Martha Frances Runnels 5 May 1859 Macon County, Missouri. Annias burial location is unknown. Martha is buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Osage Twp., St. Clair County, Missouri. Isaac Newton Moore is buried in Brownington Cemetery, Brownington, Henry County, Missouri. 8. Francis H. Moore, born 1831 Barren County, Kentucky; died 4 July 1851 Macon County, Missouri. Francis never married and his burial location is unknown at this time. 9. Albert S., born 1813/1814 Barren County, Kentucky; died 9 July 1845 Barren County, Kentucky. He married Lucinda B. Campbell 10 January 1839 Barren County, Kentucky. Charles William Moore, born 30 October 1853 Macon County, Missouri; died 30 December 1856 Macon County, Missouri. Charles died young. His burial location is not known. 3. Isaac Newton Tobe Moore, born 29 September 1856 Macon County, Missouri; died 17 September 1890 Brownington, Henry County, Missouri. He married Annie Margaret Morris 26 January 1877 Macon County, Missouri. Annie is buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Osage Twp., St. Clair County, Missouri. James Harvey Moore, born 19 May 1864 Macon County, Missouri; died 2 December 1899 Pittsburg, Crawford County, Kansas. He married Sallie Clementine Evans 8 June 1892 Columbus, Cherokee County, Kansas. Sallie is buried in Landrum Cemetery, Laurel County, Kentucky. James is buried in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Pittsburg, Crawford County, Kansas. 4. Robert Lee Moore, born 30 September 1866 Macon County, Missouri; died 14 March 1928 Haswell, Kiowa County, Colorado. He married Minnie Amelia Puffenbarger 21 August 1887 Brownington, Henry County, Missouri. Robert and Minnie are buried in Las Animas Cemetery, Las Animas, Bent County, Colorado. 5. Albert Shirley Moore, born 5 September 1869 Macon County, Missouri. His date of death is not known. Albert was known by his middle name Shirley. He married a Miss Walters about 1892, then on 18 July 1894 he married again to Mary H. Mawson in Crawford County, Kansas. Shirley was living in St. Clair County, Missouri March 1913; he obtained employment in Kansas and nothing more is known beyond this point. 6. Jesse W. Moore, born 13 July 1876 Macon County, Missouri; died 7 October 1873 Macon County, Missouri. Jesse died young. His place of burial is not known. 7. Daniel Rufus Moore, born 13 July 1876 Macon County, Missouri; died 1 October 1942 Maywood, Cook County, Illinois. He married Eldra Thompson 15 February 1899 Dottie, St. Clair County, Missouri.
