John Sr. is mentioned as the grandfather of William, John, and Isham Miles whose will was dated 23 April 1748. These grandchildren are living together in Cumberland Co. in 1768 with their Mother, Ann Miles and step father John Brown. I assume they are all brothers. Judith and Mary are mentioned as adult daughters of John (the younger) in 1762.
I assume all 5 are children of John 'the younger'.
John Sr's death date is indirectly mentioned:
June Court 23 April 1748 - Will of John Miles, dec'd, presented by John Miles (the younger), the executor.
July Court 1748 - Inventory of John Miles returned.

p. 313 Turner Hill and Sarah his wife VS William Miles, son and heir of John Miles, dec'd, and John Brown and Ann his wife, in chancery.
February Court 1759
p. 102 On motion of John Brown and Ann his wife, which said Ann is late wife of John Miles 'the younger', dec'd, it is ordered that William Acrill, George Minge, William Kennon and John Minge lay off her dower in Miles's estate.
(I believe Ann gave up her share of the estate by receiving several slaves as was found in a 4 April 1786 Cumberland Co. document where William Miles sold these slaves to John Brown, his stepfather. The deed was proved and recorded in June 1786 after payment of 7000 weight of new tobacco. This same document confirms William's father's name was John MILES.)
Ann is still alive when John Brown wrote his will April 17, 1805 in Cumberland Co. VA.
3. Judith Miles

November Court 1758
p. 75 Grand Jury presents Charity Poynter, Judith Miles, Lucy Rodgers and Jane Ogleby for having bastard children.
(Her father John apparently died about November 1750.) February Court 1762
p. 351 Judith Miles orphan of John Miles, chooses Mordecai Debnam as her guardian. ************************************************************************** Ann Miles, her mother, married John Brown after her first husband John Miles died. Judith evidently did not live with her mother Ann and John Brown her step father. There is no further mention of the bastard child in these records. **************************************************************************** April Court 1762
p. 390 David Jackson and Mary his wife and Judith, said Mary and Judith being daughters & devisees of John Miles, dec'd VS Turner Hill; In Chancery. Deft. ordered to pay.
Vol. 23 VA Historical Magazine
p. 87 Judith Miles md. John Riddlehurst May 2, 1764 Charles City Co. VA Records *************************************************************************** I am guessing that Judith must have been at least 13 when she had the child in 1755 or before. In 1762 she is still not of legal age.
4. Mary Miles

April Court 1762
p. 390 David Jackson and Mary his wife and Judith Miles, said Mary and Judith being daughters & devisees of John Miles, dec'd VS Turner Hill; In Chancery. Deft. (defendant) ordered to pay.
This indicates Mary is one of the five known children of John 'the younger' mentioned in this reference book.

They are all living together in Cumberland Co. in 1768 (1768 tax list) with their mother Ann and step-father John Brown.
They are the children of John 'the younger' and Ann.
The age for William is a guess based on these records. ************************************************************* I believe this record came from Cumberland Co. VA also.

He also gives the balance of his estate due from the estate of John Brown, his stepfather. Evidently John Miles had no wife or children at this point in his life.
