WALLACE WILSON DIES

 
Wallace WILSON, prominent farmer and stockman of Lincoln County for many years, died yesterday (Thursday) Oct. 26, 1939 of pneumonia, at St. Joseph's Hospital St. Charles, after only a brief illness. Mr. WILSON was the son of the late John W. and Isabell WILSON, was born near Troy, July 28, 1869.

On Dec. 25, 1900, he was married to Miss Levia NUCKLES, who with her son, EDWARD R., the daughter-in-law, Hester SHIELDS, two grandchildren, O'Garlan and Jeane Ann; one sister, Mrs.George HALL, and one neice Mrs. Owen TURNBULL, survive him.

In 1902, under the ministry of Rev. J. M. Major, Mr. WILSON united with the Troy Methodist Church...... Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon Oct. 28, at the Troy Methodist Church by Rev. B. B. HARVEY and burial rites were conducted at the city cemetery of Troy Masonic Lodge.
