Mrs. Susie WELLS Dies

Susie (HOUSE) WELLS, daughter of John and Betty (SITTON) HOUSE, was born March 24,1889 and departed this life September 6, 1950, at the age of 61 years, 5 months and 13 days.

She leaves to mourn her departing two brothers and 3 sisters, several nieces and nephews. She united with the New Salem Baptist Church at the age of 18 years. She was united in marriage to Sherman WELLS in 1932. He preceeded her in death in 1940.

Since the death of her husband, she has worked in St. Louis, until her recent injury in March. Since then she has been with her brother, John HOUSE, and wife, of Silex. Funeral services were held at Highland Prairie Church on Friday afternoon. Interment was made in Highland Prairie Cemetery.
