Obituary for Jessie Weitkamp (1896-1982)

Jessie Matilda Anna PETERS WEITKAMP was born to Matilda and Edward PETERS on March 29, 1896. She was united in marriage to William Henry WEITKAMP during World War I at Camp Funsten, Kansas on April 8, 1918. One daughter was born to this union.
Jessie was confirmed in 1918 and had been a member of Friedens United Church of Christ in Moscow Mills for 64 years.
Jessie is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Marie WAGNER; one granddaughter, Carolyn Marie WAGNER, and one brother, Edward PETERS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisters, Daily VOEPEL and Katie PETERS.
Mrs. WEITKAMP passed away November 17, 1982 at the age of 86 years, 7 months, and 18 days at the Medicalodge in Troy where she was residing.
Jessie will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 20, 1982 from the Friedens United Church of Christ in Moscow Mills, Rev. Al MINOR officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Mary M. MEYER was the organist. The pallbearers were William ZOLLMANN, Donald STERLING, Marvin SCHUBERT, Lester SCHAPER, Ernie BUENEMAN, and Fred VOEPEL.
The McCoy-Paul Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
