Obituary for Fred Casper Weitkamp (1895-1984)

Fred Casper WEITKAMP was born in Lincoln County, Mo., November 4, 1895, the son of John and Kate SCHMIDT WEITKAMP.
He passed away in the St. Joseph Health Center, St. Charles, Mo., July 4, 1984 at the age of 88 years and eight months.
On November 4, 1923 he was united in marriage to Miss Laura Fredericka KLEIN. Two sons were born to this union. Mrs. WEITKAMP passed away in 1976.
One son, Edward WEITKAMP, passed away just 30 hours after his fathers death. Others who preceded him in death were his sisters, Mary ECKSTEIN, Gussie WEITKAMP, Carrie WITT, Amanda WEITKAMP, Laura WEITKAMP and an infant sister; his brothers, Oscar WEITKAMP and John WEITKAMP.
He is survived by his son, Howard WEITKAMP and his wife, Mary, of St. Charles; his son Edwards wife, Mallie Vee WEITKAMP of Wentzville; his brother Oscars wife, Mrs. Velma WEITKAMP of House Springs, and his brother Johns wife, Ada WEITKAMP of Troy, a number of nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Mr. WEITKAMP was baptized and confirmed in the Friedens United Church of Christ, Moscow Mills, Mo. He was a farmer all his working life.
After Mr. WEITKAMP retired he moved to Wentzville where he lived the remainder of his life.
Mr. WEITKAMP will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
The Rev. Allen Minor, pastor of Friedens United Church of Christ, conducted funeral services for Mr. WEITKAMP at 10 oclock Saturday morning, July 7, 1984 from Kemper-Marsh Funeral Home in Troy.
Interment was in the Friedens Cemetery, Moscow Mills. Casket bearers were Leland WITT, Reed WITT, Ernie WEITKAMP, Ora BUENEMAN, Leonard OHANLON, and Clifford ADELHARDT. Honorary casket bearers were Albert KARRENBROCK and Dewey MORSE.
