DOLORES WALTON

Funeral services for Dolores Catherine WALTON, 79, of Troy, Mo., were held April 25, 1990, at the Troy Chapel, Kemper - Marsh Funeral Home.

Mrs. WALTON was born Oct. 16,1910, in Quincy, ILL., one of the four children of Herman and Margaret CRABBE HARGERBAUMER.

On Dec.31, she was united in marriage to Oscar Laurel WALTON in a ceremony performed in Quincy. The young couple made their home in the Quincy area until 1950 when they moved to Lincoln County, Mo. Mr. WALTON farmed until 1960, when he opened the Walton Blacksmith Shop at Old Alexandria.

Mrs. WALTON was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar, her parents and two children, Catherine Justis WALTON and Philip Wayne WALTON, both of whom died in infancy.

She is survived by her two daughters, Virginia Lee HOELSCHER and her husband, Charles, of Elsberry, Mo., and Marva Dean KIMBREL and her husband, Gary, of Troy; her three sons, Donald Eugene and his wife Barbara WALTON, of Troy; Jerry Richard WALTON and his wife Dorothy Ann of Paris, ILL., and Oscar Laurel WALTON Jr. and his wife Janice, of Silex.

She is survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Rev. Lester Zacher officiated at the services wth interment in the Old Alexandria Cemetery.
