Dorothy Jane TWELLMAN, 71, of Troy died Monday, Sept. 11, 1995 at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis. Her body was donated to science and a memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 1995, at the Kemper-Marsh Funeral Home, Troy. Rev. Jim Norris officiated.
The daughter of Theodore D. and Ellen Gertrude (HARDING) CALLAWAY, she was born Aug. 29, 1923, in Troy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James Harding CALLAWAY and one sister, Kathy GARCIA.
She is survived by four daughters, Rebecca VANSCOKY of California, Donna SCHULETER and husband, Arlie, of St. Charles, Helen RINEY and husband, Robert, of Troy and Kathy BEHYMER and husband, Roy, of St. Charles; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty MERSHON and her husband, Robert, of Moscow Mills and three brothers, Samuel CALLAWAY and wife, Norma, of Grove, Okla., Bill CALLAWAY of California and Ed CALLAWAY of Troy.
Ms. TWELLMAN grew up in Troy. In 1956, she moved to Glendale, Calif. where she worked as a nurse. In the early 1980s, she moved to St. Charles where she lived until last year when she moved to the Troy Nursing Center in Troy. She was a member of the St. Stephen United Methodist Church in Troy.
