Miss Cleo THURMAN of St. Charles, formerly of Troy, passed away Sept. 14, 1978 at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Virgil CHENORE, in Wentzville, Mo. Funeral services were held from Baue Chapel and interment was in the Troy City Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 27, 1898 to Malcomb H. and Hattie D. THURMAN.
Miss THURMAN was an active member of the Kingshighway Baptist Church of St. Charles and also a member of the D.A.V.R. Eastern Star. She was a retired school teacher having taught schools in Lincoln and St. Charles Counties for forty-six years.
Other than her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. CHENORE, she is survived by another sister, Mrs. Virginia McMAHAN of Winfield, one brother, Gervis H. THURMAN of Maplewood, other relatives and friends.
