Mamie L. SIEVERT, the daughter of John MANKEL and Lena (MILLER) MANKEL was born near Foristell, Missouri December 3, 1902. Mamie passed away March 28, 1981.
She was christened at the age of three, along with her brother, Robert, at Friedens Church at Moscow Mills, Mo. She was confirmed as an adult in 1918, also at Friedens Church in Moscow Mills, where she remained a member until her death.
On July 31, 1927 she was united in marriage to August H. SIEVERT at the home of her mother at Moscow Mills. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband and two sisters: Lucille, who is Mrs. William MITCHELL of Roxana, Illinois and Anna who is Mrs. Julius BOCK of St. Charles.
Mamie leaves six nieces from her side. They are Lorraine PUETZ and family; Ruth PARSONS and family; Edna WATSON and family; Mildred AIKENS and family; Dorothy MITCHELL; Barbara LAMPLEY and family and one nephew, Robert BOCK. She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews from her husbands side, whom she loved and thought a lot of.
Mamie leaves five sister-in-laws: Clara, Esther, Lue, Minnie, and Liddie; one brother-in-law, Stanley THIEKING; one step-daughter, Mrs. Lorraine TRIMBLE PUETZ and her husband; three grandchildren; Mrs. Brian BEATTY and husband; Miss Donna PUETZ and Gary PUETZ and wife.
Mamie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lena MANKEL; six brothers: Olie, Johnnie, Herman, Robert, Roland and Clarence; two sisters: Beance (Mrs. Barrett WILSON) and Romie (Mrs. August SIEVERT); one nephew, Elmer MANKEL, whom she loved very much; her mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. August SIEVERT; three sistersin-law: Carrie, Hannah and Emma; five brothers-in-law: John HASEKAMP, Ed SIEVERT, Henry SIEVERT, Fred SIEVERT and William SIEVERT.
