Obituary of Martha (Douglas) Sheets (1903-1975)

TROY—Services for Martha Sheets, 72, of Truxton, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the McCoy Paul Funeral Home in Troy.  The Rev. Ernest Swartz will officiate, and burial will be in the Zion Cemetery in Truxton.

Mrs. Sheets died Thursday at a Troy hospital.  She was born in Grand Ledge, Mich. On Sept. 3, 1903 to Jessie and Gertrude Hunter Douglas.  She married Dee Beatty Sheets on July 1, 1924, and he survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Charles Perry, Attleboro, Mass,; Mrs. Earl Hein, Trenton; Mrs. Raymond Schulze, Troy; a sister, Mrs. R.M. Berrian, Independence; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation continues at the funeral home.
