Viola B. SEMENSKE

April 15, 1909 - June 6, 2005

TROY - Viola B. SEMENSKE, 96, of O'Fallon and formerly of Old Alexandria, died Monday, June 6, 2005, at her home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 10, at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Funeral Home in Troy. Pastor Ed Powlishia will officiate. Burial will be at the Old Alexandria Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 9, at the funeral home.

Mrs. SEMENSKE was born April 15, 1909, in Willowton, W.Va., to Scott and Nellie PURDUE WILEY.

She was married to Walter SEMENSKE on June 15, 1926, in Parisburg, Va. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Aileen RUTHERFORD and husband, Art, of Kuna, Idaho, Margaret SANDERS and husband, Gene, of Erie, Pa., and Jeanette MERRY and husband, Jim, of O'Fallon; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three grandchildren; one son; eight brothers; and four sisters.
