Memorial services for Arlie W. SCHLUETER, Sr., 74, of St. Charles, Mo., were held 2 p.m. May 14 at Friedens Peace Cemetery in New Melle.
Mr. SCHLUETER died May 11, 2002 at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles.
Born March 10, 1928 in New Melle, he was the son of John and Wilmenia SCHLUETER. He was married to Donna SCHLUETER.
Mr. SCHLUETER worked in maintenance for the St. Charles Parks Department for 30 years. He was also a member of the Junior Baseball/Softball Association of St. Charles.
Survivors include his wife, Donna SCHLUETER of St. Charles; two sons: Arlie W. SCHLUETER, Jr. and Billy SCHLUETER and his wife, Dawn, all of St. Charles; one daughter, April and her husband, Ramon NAVARRETE, of St. Ann; two brothers: Harvey SCHLUETER of Wright City and Victor SCHLUETER of St. Charles; one sister, Esther SCHWEDE of Wentzville; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Edgar and Henry SCHLUETER and one sister Elsie TWELLMAN.
Visitation was held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. May 14 at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles.
