MALCOLM ROGERS DIED SUDDENLY IN TACOMA, WASH.

Word was received here this week of the death of Malcolm Rogers 46, formerly of Lincoln County. Mr. Rogers died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Tacoma, Wash., Monday morning.

Funeral rites were held in Tacoma Thursday. A memorial service was also held at the New Hope Baptist church at 2:30 p.m. This Thursday afternoon, with Rev. Alvin Tyler officiating.

Mr. Rogers is survived by his widow, Mabel, a daughter, Lynn, sisters, Mrs. Vierling of St. Ann, Mo., Mrs. Berniece Walddogel and Mrs. Myrtle Aldermission of St. Charles, Mrs. Joseph Allen of Amarillo, Tex., Mrs. Dana Blackwell and Mrs. Orville Rhoades of Elsberry and Mrs. Floyd DeRoy of Foristell, Mo. He also leaves four brothers, Vernon of Elsberry; Warren of Old Monroe, Raymond of St. Charles and Elmer of Winfield.
