Services Held For Clyde Argent RICKS, 72

Services for Clyde Argent RICKS were held at 2 p.m Monday in Carter - Ricks Funeral home at Winfield. The Rev. Phillip Rector, pastor of Winfield Baptist Church officiated with burial in the Winfield Cemetery.

Mr. RICKS, 72, died May 14, 1983 in Old Monroe. He was born March 28, 1911, at Winfield, the son of Ernest E. & Dona ARGENT RICKS. On Dec. 1, 1934, he was married to Josephine Julia FREESE of Old Monroe. Mr. RICKS was a member of Winfield Baptist Church.

Survivors besides his wife is one daughter, Beverely IRVIN of Old Monroe; two grandchildren; three sisters, Marie BOYETT of St. Louis, Olevia CAMP of Memphis, Tn. and Donna June DUNARD of Troy.
