Mrs Francis Ann REYNOLDS, nee WITHROW, was born June 30, 1869, was raised in Troy, and was married to William E. REYNOLDS Jan. 27, 1887. She united with the Christian church in Troy when she was only sixteen years old. She and her husband lived in Troy only one year, then moved to St. Louis, where they continued to live until last May, when she came back to Troy to spend the few remaining days of her life with her aged mother. In December, 1895, her health failed and she has been a patient, constant sufferer ever since.

There were born to their union three children--- two sons and a daughter; her oldest son Charles Peers, and her little daughter, Camile, preceeded her to their heavenly home. Her husband, mother and her dear little son, Willie; two brothers, one sister and many relatives left to mourn her loss and treasure her virtures. She died Sept. 14, 1897. Her funeral was at her late residence and she was taken to the cemetery in Troy and tenderly laid in the grave to rest till the resurrection morn. F.(rest is missing)

[Transcriber's Notes:

Francis was spelled as male with the ( i not e) I find no census record for any of these people in the Troy City Cem. I would think mother and the 2 children who preceeded her in death would be there as well..perhaps not. j.g. ]
