Obituary for William B. Rahmeier (1902-1983)

William B. RAHMEIER was born March 20, 1902 in Old Monroe, Mo. to Wilhelm H. and Hilda Louise (STRATHMAN) RAHMEIER. He died Wednesday night, March 23, 1983 at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, Mo. just three days after his 81st birthday.
He was baptized, confirmed, and continued as a lifelong member of St. Paul United Church of Christ.
On October 6, 1926, he married Emily Lizzie FREESE, who survives. Other survivors include two daughters: Edna GRAVENS and her husband, Ellsworth and Norma KEETEMAN; six grandchildren: Wayne LANGSTON and his wife, Marilynn; Glenn LANGSTON and his wife, Misty; Elaine LANGSTON LEHMANN and her husband, Paul; Karla LANGSTON CUNNINGHAM and her husband, Bill; and Glenda and Karol KEETEMAN. He also had three great-grandchildren, Garrett, Sarah and Laura. Also surviving are one brother, Albert RAHMEIER; one sister, Marie HARTENBERGER; a brother-in-law; two sisters-in-law; together with nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, a brother and a son-in-law, Henry Bud KEETEMAN.
Funeral services for Mr. RAHMEIER were held Saturday, March 26, 1983 at St. Pauls United Church of Christ Cemetery. Arrangements were handled through Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, Winfield, Mo.
