Obituary for Minnie Schmidt Pollman
(1894-1987)Wilhelmine "Minnie" Katherine POLLMAN passed away Friday evening, April 17, 1987 in Lincoln County Memorial Hospital, Troy, Mo. She was 93 years of age.
Mrs. POLLMAN was born near Troy, February 20, 1894, the daughter of Paul Henry and Annie Louise TECKEMEIER SCHMIDT. She was married August 11, 1926 to Louis August POLLMAN. They established their first home in St. Louis. One son, Louis Henry, was born to this union on September 9, 1928. He died in infancy.
Louis and Minnie POLLMAN moved to their home in Moscow Mills after his retirement from Shapleigh Hardware Company in 1943. When her husband pasted away in 1961, after a lingering illness, Minnie continued to minister to others who were in need.
Besides her husband and son, Minnie POLLMAN was predeceased by her sister, Ida BUENEMAN and her husband, Nathaniel; her brother, the Rev. John SCHMIDT, her nephews, William BUENEMAN and Paul Donald KARRENBROCK.
She is survived by one sister, Annie KARRENBROCK and her husband, Albert Moscow Mills; her brother, Johns wife, Ella SCHMIDT of St. Louis; her nieces, Alberta BUENEMAN and her husband, Ernie of Troy, Irene BOSSALLER and her husband, Walt of St. Louis, Lucille BERGFELD and her husband, Fred of Troy; Eleanor HEDRICK of Akron, Ohio; her nephew, Rev. Armin L. SCHMIDT and wife, Connie of Little Rock, Arkansas; Annline P. BUENEMAN and Ruth STOCK (her husbands nieces), many other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. POLLMAN were held at 2 oclock Tuesday afternoon, April 21, 1987 from the Friedens United Church of Christ, Moscow Mills, conducted by the church pastor, the Rev. John Riggs. Mrs. Wencker Meyer was the organist and the Rev. Robert Hicks was the soloist.
Interment was in the Friedens Cemetery, Moscow Mills. Casket bearers were Ernie BUENEMAN, Fred BERGFELD, Frederick GERDIMAN, Walt BOSSALLER, Arlie HELMICH and Marvin BUENEMAN.
Arrangements were through the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home in Troy.
