Henry James PEYTON, 77, of OFallon died Jan. 11, 2002, at home. He was born Oct. 9, 1924 to James K. and Alma M. PEYTON in Portage des Sioux.
Mr. PEYTON was an over-the-road truck driver for Southwest Freight in Kansas City for 28 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred M. PEYTON of OFallon; two daughters, Martha J. VASILON of Surfside Beach, S.C., and Barbara J. TAYLOR of Edmond, Okla.; five sons, Dennis J. of Olivette, David H. of Ellisville, Michael J. of OFallon, James D. of Wentzville and Kevin L. of Lake Saint Louis; one sister, Thelma ALSOP of St. Charles; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Eugene B.
Services were Jan. 14 at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center Chapel in St. Charles with burial in St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be to the American Cancer Society or Lupus Research.
