OBITUARY for William S. PENNINGTON (1863-1941)

William S. Pennington
William Simpson PENNINGTON, only son of Simpson and Frances PARK PENNINGTON, was born April 27, 1863 and died October 9, 1941 at the age of 78 years, 5 months and 12 days.
He was married October 5, 1884 to Anna Rebecca HUSTON and three children were born to this union, namely, Axie and Dick, deceased and Marguerite, with whom he has made his home for the past fifteen years. His wife passed away November 20, 1923.
He was converted several years ago and united with the Presbyterian Church in Whiteside.
Those to mourn his passing are his daughter, Mrs. Arch SANDERSON of Bowling Green, three grandchildren, Wiley ALLEN, Billie Jack ALLEN and Mrs. Harold DeTIENNE; three great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at the Whiteside Presbyterian Church by Rev. S. Morris EAMES, pastor of Louisville Christian Church.
