A funeral mass for Althea Jane PEITZMAN of Moscow Mills, was celebrated at 10 a.m. today (Aug. 28) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Troy. Father James Flynn officiated and the interment was in Freidens Cemetery, Moscow Mills, Mo.

Mrs. PEITZMAN, 72, passed away Aug. 24, 1985 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Chesterfield, Mo. following a short illness. She was born Oct. 24, 1912 in Warren County, a daughter of James Daniel RATTLES and Nancy Jane POLSTON RATTLES.

Surviving are three daughters, Evelyn ROBERTS and her husband Tom of Silex, Shirley LENK and her husband, Raymond of Moscow Mills, Kathy SCHULTE and her husband, Ricky of Troy; two sons, Harry WIELMS and his wife, Jessie of Moscow Mills, George WIELMS and his wife, Dee of Troy. Mrs. PEITZMAN is further survived by 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild, one niece, one nephew, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. PEITZMAN was preceded in death by her husband, Omer H. PEITZMAN, her parents, four sisters, and nine brothers. Visitation was held at the McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home on Aug. 26 & 27. A Christian Wake Service was held Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
