OBITUARY

Gertrude Gibson O' MARA, daughter of Sarah and James Thomas GIBSON , was born November 27, 1892 at Whiteside, Missouri. She passed away June 30, 1974 at the Lincoln County Memorial Hospital, Troy, Mo., being 81 years, 7 months and 3 days of age.

Mrs. O' MARA was the wife of the late Joseph O' MARA who passed away September 30, 1969.

Surviving her passing are her son, Alpha and his wife, Marie; a grandson, Michael Lynn O' MARA and his wife Sandra; a granddaughter, Patricia Ann CREECH and her husband, Clem Douglas; five great-grandchildren: Tamara Lynn, Michael Scott, Dawn Marie, Elizabeth Susan O' MARA and Charles Curtis CREECH; two sisters: Mrs. H. E. TUCKER, of Louisiana, Mo., and Miss Ora GIBSON, of Troy, Mo.; three sisters-in-law: Mrs. Lillian GIBSON, of Troy, Mo., Mrs. S. A. ZAUNG, Black Mountain, North Carolina; Mrs. Grace REEG, St. Louis, Mo., one brother-in-law, Earl O' MARA, of Memphis, Tn.; two nieces, Mrs. A. R. GREGORY, Winfield, Mo. and Mrs. W. A. BARRETT, of Troy, Mo., one nephew, Earl TUCKER of Eolia, Mo.; several great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Preceeding Mrs. O' MARA in death were her husband, Joseph, her mother and father, three sisters: Miss Connie GIBSON, Mrs, Herman (Martha) CZESCHIEN, Mrs. Omer (Maude) CARTER and three brothers: Jack, Ben, and Guy GIBSON.

At an early age, she was united with the Whiteside Presbyterian Church..................

The Rev. J. Arnold Bickel, pastor of the First Baptist Curch of Troy, conducted the funeral services for Mrs. O' MARA at 3 o'clock tuesday afternoon, July 2nd from the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home. Miss Cheri LaRue was the organist.

Interment was in the Troy City Cemetery. Casket bearers wee John Kuda, Charles Hall, Porter Conley, LeRoy Baxter, Clem Douglas Creech and Arnold Gibson
