Obituary for Patsy Lee Ferguson Murphy
(1941-1994)Services for Patsy Lee MURPHY of Silex were held Monday, Oct. 31, 1994, at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. The Rev. John Maher officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. MURPHY died quietly Oct. 28, 1994, at the DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton, Mo.
She was born June 23, 1941, in Truxton, Mo. Pat was the daughter of Oscar and Frances "Sis" FERGUSON. She was married June 6, 1959, to Michael E. MURPHY. They survive. Four children were added to this union: Randall Lee, who survives; Connie Jean, Michael Patrick and Michelle Deann who are now joined in Heaven by their mother.
Other survivors include Randy’s wife, Theresa; four grandchildren, Michael, Shawn, Joshua and Christina MURPHY; two sisters, Sandra Kay GIBSON and Brenda Sue KLEIN; her paternal grandmother, Lera FERGUSON; nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
Pall bearers were Tom TWELLMAN, Rick TWELLMAN, Jim TWELLMAN, Johnny AUBUCHON, Floyd CRONEN and Eddie KOHL. Honorary pallbearers were Joe TWELLMAN, Bob GIBSON, Tom KLEIN, Al BYERS, Ray JEX, Bill PEASEL, Ray KINION, Leo LENK, Mel PEASEL and Henry WOMMACK.
