Obituary for Maribeth Mette
(1997)Maribeth METTE, 47, of St. Louis and formerly of Moscow Mills, died Thursday (Feb. 20, 1997) at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital in Troy. The cause of death has not been determined.
Ms. METTE was employed as a laboratory consultant for SIGMA Diagnostics in St. Louis. She formerly had been employed in the same capacity at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital in Troy. In 1992 she had assisted on Hillary Rodham Clinton’s Health Care Committee by writing the laboratory standards part of the report.
The graveside service was Monday at the Friedens United Church of Christ/Anderson Hill Cemetery in Moscow Mills.
Among the survivors are her father, Henry METTE of Moscow Mills; her companion and partner in life, Carolyn KELLEY of St. Louis; one stepson, Todd KING of West Plains; one step daughter, Lisa REED of Troy; and five step grandchildren.
