Obituary for Laura "Millie" McCoy
(1923-1993)Laura "Millie" McCOY, 69, of St. Charles, died Saturday, April 10, 1993, at her home. She was born Dec. 19, 1923, in Billings, Mont.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in St. Charles with interment in St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held today (April 14) at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles.
Mrs. McCOY was a claims deputy for the Missouri State Employment Security Office in St. Charles for over 30 years.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in St. Charles.
She served in the U.S. Army in World War II.
She is survived by her husband, Charles D. McCOY of St. Charles; one daughter, Kathy BEHYMER of Austin, Texas; two sons, Phil of St. Charles and Brian, stationed in Korea with the U.S. Air Force; six brothers, LeRoy YETTER of Levina, Mont., Wayne YETTER, Harold YETTER and Ben YETTER, all of Billings, George YETTER of Lewistowne, Mont., and Morris YETTER of Roundup, Mont.; four sisters, Doris GARVIS of Columbia, Ohio, Florence OSTERMILLER and Helen SCHUMAKER, both of Billings, Mont., and Rosalie BAUGH of St. Louis; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Joe YETTER, Everett YETTER, John YETTER and Charles YETTER; and two sisters, Mary McBRIDE and Edith WARREN.
