Funeral services for Efton R. MASSIE, age 91, of Moscow Mills, Mo. will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 14 at the McCoy & Blossom Chapel in Troy. Officiating will be the Reverend Doug Odom. Interment will follow in the New Salem Cemetery, Winfield, Missouri.

Mr. MASSIE passed away at 12:48 p.m. Monday, December 12, 1988 at his residence following a lengthy illness.

He was born January 28, 1897 in Winfield, Mo., the son of Edgar and Susan GENTRY MASSIE.

Surviving are one granddaughter, Bonnie MOMPHARD and husband, R.T. of Troy; one son-in-law, Alfred MEIER of Winfield; nine great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Osie V. OVERALL MASSIE, one daughter, Helen MEIER, one son, Franklin MASSIE, and one grandson, Jack MASSIE.

Visitation began at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 13 at the McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, Mo.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
