MARTIN----July 12th, 1890.

W. H. MARTIN, of near Linn’s Mill, aged 78 years.

He was born in Virginia and came to this county at an early date. He was married four times. His first two wives were sisters, MISSES DAVIS. He was the father of 21 children.

William H. Martin was the son of HEZEKIAH & LEANNA STEVENSON MARTIN. He was born December 12, 1814 in Fauquier Co., Virginia.

His first three wives were ELIZABETH DAVIS, EMILY R. DAVIS, and AMERICA A. HARVEY.]

His 4th wife was NANCY A. CARUTHERS. They were married in Lincoln Co. May 9, 1878. This was a little over a year after his wife, my great grandmother AMERICA HARVEY MARTIN, died. There were no children of his 4th marriage. By this time he already had 21 children.]
