Charles Martin Dead
The passing away of Charles MARTIN Tues. p.m., Dec. 26, 1916, was not unexpected by his
many Troy friends..........
Mr. MARTIN was one of the best known attorneys of Lincoln Co. For many years he had
enjoyed a good practice, confined to civil practice and to real estate and probate
law......... For many years he was Pres. of Farmers and Mechanic Savings Bank, a member of
it's board of directors thirty years and the legal advisor of the board for a long time
.............
Mr. MARTIN leaves a widow, three sons and one daughter........He was 71 years and 9 months
old at the time of his death.
His funeral is being held as this paper goes to press and his remains will be laid away in
the Troy cemetery with Masonic honors by Troy Lodge No.34. ...........rest is missing
