William Fredrick KLEIN, life-long resident of Lincoln County, Mo., passed away in the Lincoln County Memorial Hospital, Troy, Mo., early Sunday morning, February 8, 1981. He was 74 years of age.
Funeral services were conducted from the Friedens United Church of Christ, Moscow Mills, Mo., Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 10, 1981, at 2 oclock, by the church pastors, the Rev. Al Minor and the Rev. Reva Minor. Mrs. Wencker Meyer was the organist and Mrs. Lowell Lampley was the vocalist. Interment was in Friedens Cemetery, Moscow Mills. Casket bearers were Paul GENZLING, Roy MCNEALY, Delbert GAEDIKE, Arlie SCHEMMER and Arlie HELMICH.
Mr. KLEIN was born in Lincoln County, Missouri, January 4, 1907, the son of William and Meta SCHEMMER KLEIN. He was married March 12, 1949 to Miss Clara Marie STRASSEMEIER. Mrs. KLEIN passed away April 7, 1977.
Mr. KLEIN is survived by three nephews: Howard WEITKAMP of St. Charles, Edward WEITKAMP of Wentzville and Bob STRASSEMEIER of Moscow Mills; two brothers-in-law: Fred WEITKAMP of Wentzville and Ed STRASSEMEIER of Moscow Mills; other relatives and many friends.
Mr. KLEIN was a retired farmer. He was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ at Moscow Mills and of the Lincoln County Farm Bureau.
Visitation was at the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home in Troy.
