Mrs. Clara Kientzy Services Conducted
At St. Alphonsus
Funeral mass for Mrs. Clara Kientzy, 79, of Silex
Was held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2nd at
St. Alphonsus Church, Millwood. The Rev.
Albert Danter officiated with interment in the
Church cemetery.
The rosary was recited Wednesday evening at
the Mudd Funeral Home in Silex where the body
was in state
Mrs. Kientzy died Aug. 31 at her home near Silex.
She was born Dec. 33, 1891, the daughter of
Bernard and Mary Meuth Miller. She was a
member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, George Kientzy,
four daughters, Mrs. William (Geneva) Bowles,
Silex, Mrs. Raymond (Angela) Phelan, and Mrs.
Russell (Virginia) Gieselman, St. Louis and Mrs.
Rudolph (Marie) Kunza of Troy; three sons,
Brother Pius Kientzy O.S.B., Conception,
DeSales Kientzy, St. Louis and Dick Kientzy,
Silex; one brother, Bernard Miller of Silex;
33 grandchildren and ll great grandchildren.
Grandsons of the deceased served as pallbearers.
