Death of a Good Woman
Mrs. Mary Ann KENT, formerly Mary Ann ARCHER, died Weds. a.m. of last week at 5 o'clock at
her home in Moscow Mills. Death was due to inflammatory rheumatism. Thurs, p.m. funeral
services were held at Sugar Creek church at 3 o'clock by Elder Wm. FRAZIER. The remains
were interred in Thornhill Cem.
Deceased was born in Lincoln Co. and lived here all her life. She left a son and a
daughter, two brothers and a sister to mourn her loss. Her husband desserted her a number
of years ago, but she strived and succeeded in keeping the family together and raised her
children happily and carefully. She bore the reputation of being a most excellent lady.
