Obituary for Henry C. Keithley (1854-1928)

HENRY C. KEITHLEY, of Moscow Mills, who has made his home for a number of months past at the home of his daughter, Mrs. JOHN BRANDES, of Troy, died of a heart attack Monday, April 2, about 12 o’clock.
Mr. KEITHLEY had been ill for several years, his health finally becoming so bad that he gave up his business interests at Moscow Mills and came to Troy to make his home with his daughter. Monday morning he was able to be up town, although on Saturday previous he had suffered two bad spells with his heart. After he had returned home, about noon, he was seized with another attack which caused his death.
Mr. KEITHLEY was 74 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. FLOY E. BRANDES, one granddaughter, one sister Mrs. J.L. COCKRELL and several brothers.
Funeral services were held at the Troy Presbyterian church Wednesday afternoon by REV. J. R. BENIKA and burial was in the city cemetery.
