Obituary for Hazel Bernice Keithley (1922-1986)

Hazel Bernice KEITHLEY was born September 27, 1922, in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away February 8, 1986, at the Lincoln County Memorial Hospital Troy, Mo., following a lengthy illness. She was 63 years, 4 months and eleven days old. She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Irene NEALY, also three brothers, Eugene in infancy, Wesley and Marvin. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Omer and five sons, Loyd Jr., Ervin and Kent HARRELL, all of a previous marriage; Johnnie and Jimmie KEITHLEY also five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is survived by two sisters and one brother, Helen LORTON, Mary Ann STROER and Emmett (Bill) NEALY, two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, a number of nephews and nieces, and many friends.

A visitation for Mrs. KEITHLEY was held Sunday, Feb. 9 after 4:00 p.m. at the McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home of Troy, Mo.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. from the McCoy & Blossom Chapel. Officiating was the Rev. Sammy LORTON. Mrs. Sammy LORTON was the organist and Duane Elmore sang and accompanied himself on the guitar. Interment was in the Old Alexandria Cemetery, Old Alexandria, Mo.
