Obituary for Minnie Sophia Justus (1897-1956)

Troy Free Press, Troy, Lincoln County, MO.

Minnie Sophia JUSTUS, nee MEYER, daughter of John and Minnie MEYER was born April 19, 1897 near Moscow Mills. She passed away suddenly on March 18, 1956, at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital, Troy, Missouri, having attained the age of 58 years, 10 months and 28 days. She was baptized and confirmed in the Evangelical Church at Moscow Mills. On June 17, 1919, she was united in marriage to John H. JUSTUS. To this union was born one son, Clyde.

Besides her husband and son, she is survived by one daughter-in-law; 3 grandchildren; one sister and 3 brothers, Lizzie GENZLING, Henry and Ernie MEYER, of Moscow Mills, and William MEYER, of California; also sisters-in-law and brother-in-law; nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral services were conducted from the McCoy Funeral Home to the Moscow Evangelical Church by Rev. Wm. V. Tollas with interment in the Anderson Hill cemetery.
