Obituary for Edwin Justus
(1946-2001)Funeral services for Edwin Fred JUSTUS, 55, of Moscow Mills, Mo., were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 6 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. David Stewart, pastor of St. Stephen United Methodist Church, officiated. Interment followed in Troy City Cemetery in Troy.
Serving as pallbearers were: Paul JUSTUS, Doyle JUSTUS, Darrin JUSTUS, Calvin CREECH, Ted BAUER, Larry BALS and Patrick TABOR.
Mr. JUSTUS died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001, at his home near Moscow Mills.
Born July 20, 1946, in Old Monroe, he was the son of the late Emmett Christ and Esther Marie STIENBACH JUSTUS. He was married on March 31, 1967, in Troy, to Carolyn Joyce DUNARD.
A life-long resident of Lincoln County, he was engaged in farming all of his life. He was employed for a number of years as heavy equipment operator for Von Semke.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 34 years, Carolyn JUSTUS of Moscow Mills; two sons: David JUSTUS of Troy and Mike JUSTUS and his wife, Donna, of Old Monroe; two daughters: Brenda JUSTUS and her life companion, Gary GREGORY, of Coral Springs, Fla., and Lisa BECKHAM and her husband, David, of Troy; six grandchildren: Ryan JUSTUS of Coral Springs, Fla., Travis and Heather JUSTUS of Troy, and Amanda, Cassidy and Devin JUSTUS of Old Monroe; two brothers and their wives: Elmer and Mary JUSTUS of St. Charles and Ernest and Rita JUSTUS of Troy; one sister, Elizabeth CREECH and her husband, Clarence, Jr., of Troy; one brother-in-law, Duane DUNARD and his wife, Donna, of Troy; his mother-in-law, Helen DUNARD of Troy; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
