The Rev. Clyde F. JUSTUS, 68, of York, Neb., died Feb. 7, 1992, in Lincoln, Neb.
Born Jan. 19, 1924, in Moscow Mills, MO., to John H. and Minnie (MEYER) JUSTUS, he was ordained in the United Church of Christ and served rural Owensville and Swiss, Mo., churches.
He also served at St. Pauls United Church of Christ in Cook for 20 years and the Zion United Church of Christ in Talmage, Neb. for 11 years.
He retired to York in 1989, where he served part-time at the Arborville Congregational Church near Polk.
He was a member of the American Legion and the Lincoln Association of the United Church of Christ.
On May 12, 1946, he married Audrey WEITKAMP in Moscow Mills.
Survivors include his wife of York; two daughters, Dr. Jaunita (Stan) BROWN of Boca Raton, Fla., Pat (Curtis) SCHNEIDER of York; two sons, Tom (Darlene) JUSTUS of Owensville, Mo. and Richard (Dixie) JUSTUS of Lincoln; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter.
Services were held Feb.10 at St. Pauls UCC in Cook with the Revs. Ken Tubbesing and Herb Wentz officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
