Mrs. Garret (Gertrude) JENNINGS died May 11, 1979 at a nursing home in Durant, Okla., at the age of 101 years. Funeral services were held in Durant May 14 with burial in Hartshorne, Okla.

Mrs. JENNINGS was born February 19, 1878 in Bacon Springs Indian Territory. She was of the Methodist faith.

Preceding her in death were her husband; a son, George JENNINGS; and two step-daughters, Genestelle JENNINGS and Mrs. Lee (Arline) WELCH.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Doris) BARLOW of San Jose, Calif.; one sister, Anna B. WILSON of Tucson, Ariz.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two nieces.
