Obituary
Ira Russell JAMESON, son of Willis Franklin and Flora JAMESON, was born in Lincoln County, April 18, 1885, and died in a hospital in St. Louis September 17, 1932, at the age of 47 years, 4 months, and 29 days. Most of his life was spent in Lincoln County. In 1929, with his family, he moved to St. Louis. He was married to Rebecca CLUNY August 24, 1909. To this union six children were born, one dying in infancy. He leaves to mourn his departure- his wife and children, Mrs. Ray WILSON, Marjorie, Bradford, Genevieve and Jack; one grandchild, Kenneth WILSON; one brother, Green JAMESON of near Foristell; two sisters, Mrs. M.P. HUTTON, of Old Monroe, and Mrs. Nora LUSSE, of near Winfield. He was a sufferer of a complication of diseases for many months and death came as a sweet relief. He was a strong believer in God and bore his suffering without complaint. His neighbors have lost a good friend, his children a devoted father, and his wife a loving husband; but we look to the Great Beyond, where we all hope to be united again. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, September 20, at 2 p.m. by Rev. Stillwell in the Highland Prairie church. Interment was in the cemetery there. - M.R.C.
