Vera May HUNN, nee GROCE, 94, Bonne Terre, formerly of Troy, died Wednesday, October 6, 1999, in Washington.
She was born September 16, 1905, at Foristell, daughter of David Warren GROCE and wife Josephine, nee HERRELL.
On October 31, 1925, she was united in marriage to Vernette T. HUNN at Sacred Heart Church, Troy. Father Schlotheder performed the ceremony.
Mrs. HUNN was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bonne Terre.
Mrs. HUNN was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vernette T. HUNN; and by one son, Marvin HUNN.
She is survived by six sons, Victor HUNN and wife Millie, Bonne Terre, Richard HUNN and wife Evelyn, St. Ann, Glennon HUNN, Bourbon, Leonard HUNN and wife Pasty, Troy, Melvin HUNN, Bonne Terre, and Norbert HUNN and wife Louise, Sparta; two daughters, Margaret MEYER, Union, and Regina BUENEMAN, Moscow Mills; two sisters, Ethal CHAN, Ames, Iowa, and Vivian BRITTON, Sun City, Arizona; one brother, Gerald GROCE and wife, Lydia, Leslie; 46 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Memorials to Sacred Heart Cemetery or the American Heart Association are preferred.
The HUNN family was served by Pitman-Brown Funeral Home, Warrenton.
