Obituary for Theodore John Hunn (1900-1978)

Theodore John HUNN was born July 1, 1900 at Troy, Missouri to Richard and Susie METCALF HUNN. On June 1, 1926 he was married to Ethel Agnes BABCOCK. They were the parents of one daughter, Mildred Cecelia.

Mr. HUNN was a farmer and resident of Lincoln County all of his life. He was a member of the Holy Name Society at Sacred Heart Church. For many years he was an active member of the National Farmers Organization.

He passed away suddenly, January 16, 1978, at the age of 77 years. Funeral services were conducted by Father Charles FRANKEY at 10:00 a.m. Wenesday, January 18 at Sacred Heart Church with burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Pallbearers were Richard HUNN, Leonard HUNN, Al MODER, Richard PREIS, Roy OLSON, and Ronald OLSON.

Survivors are his wife Ethel, his daughter, Mildred and her husband, Gilbert KRUEGER. Three grandchildren; Richard KRUEGER and his wife Mary Lou of Troy; Ann KLATT and her husband Bill of La Plata; Gary KRUEGER and his wife Cheryl of Troy. Five great-grandchildren: Ricky and Tommy KRUEGER, Melanie and Kathy KLATT and Michael KRUEGER.

He is also survived by one uncle, F.E. METCALF of St. Louis, one aunt, Mrs. Bragg METCALF of Troy, five sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Vernette HUNN, and two sisters, Myrtle HESSE and Dorothy JEANS SINGER.
