Obituary for Sanie Belle Hunn
(1882-1948)Sanie Belle HUNN, daughter of the late Theodore and Mary METCALF, was born near Troy, Mo., October 31, 1882, and departed this life October 28, 1948, being 65 years, 11 months and 28 days at the time of her death. She was married to William HUNN April 5, 1904.
Shortly after her marriage she joined the Catholic Church, to which she was a devoted member and her Christian spirit was recognized at all times by those who knew her.
She leaves to mourn her passing: 3 sons, Lawrence, Harold and Vincent; 2 daughters-in-law and 3 granddaughters. Her husband preceded her in death 3 months ago. She also has 2 children who preceded her in death some years ago, Bernard and Velaria.
She passed away at her home in Overland and funeral services were held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Troy by Rev. Fr. Drimped, after which her body was laid to rest by that of her husband in the Catholic cemetery near Troy.
