Obituary for Ida Josephine Harrell (1896-1983)

Ida Josephine (known as Edie) HARRELL was born on October 20, 1896 in Carrolton, Illinois, the daughter of Anton (Tony) and Ann OSBORN CAPPEL. She passed away on December 13, 1983 at the age of 87 years, one month and 23 days at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital.

On September 12, 1914 she was married to Al Dean HARRELL, who survives. Also surviving are four sons: Shelby and his wife, Lucy, Harry and his wife, Alice Mae, Sidney and his wife, Geraldine, Melvin and his wife, Wilhelmina. She is also survived by two sisters: Lena (Mrs. Jesse) HARRELL and Lucille (Mrs. Lewis) Hill.

She was precede in death by five brothers: John, Fred, Clarence, Earl and Roy CAPPEL.

Twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.
